The story is as follows:
This B-52 bomber was undergoing a routine fuel tank cleaning in Beirut, Lebanon. Workmen accidentally damaged the fuel bladder system and had to temporarily install ones taken from a C-130 fuel transport jet. A more permanent repair could be performed, at a more advanced maintenance service location. So, without major disassembly, the plane was transported to Crete for repairs.
